Position:                             Sales Manager

Reports to:                         Senior Manager – Sales & Marketing

 

Position requirements

 

  1. 7 to 9 years of work experience preferably in Hospitality in the mid-market/budget segment
  2. Hotel Management and business background preferred; should have advanced career within previous firms.
  3. Knowledge of Commercial Sales, Analytics, understanding of ratios and P&L
  4. Should have handled Multiple hotels or a Regional role
  5. Should have prior team handling skills

 

Key position objectives

 

  • Work with Hotel Manager, Hotel Sales Team and the and the Regional Manager to spearhead implementation of  the strategic plan for growing city’s revenue and market share by exceeding/meeting the defined targets/budgets for the Hotel and the Regional Sales Office
  • Coach Hotel Sales team and Manage, Lead and Coach the Regional sales team

 

Role responsibilities

 

  • Channelize the teams’ priorities to meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume, market share, and other key financial performance objectives.
  • Maintain and drive relationship with key customers
  • Work closely with the Hotel Manager to establish successful support, channel and partner programs
  • Manage customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting
  • Compile information and data related to customer and prospect interactions
  • Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to the corporate leadership team
  • Travel for in-person meetings with customers and partners and to develop key relationships
